About the role
Most people who need SalesGit are searching for something else — "how to sell online in Nigeria", "how to price a course", "how to accept payments". Your job is to make sure they find us, and that what they find is genuinely worth reading.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Write the blog: practical guides for small business owners and creators
• Own keyword research and the content plan behind it
• Write the Help Center articles that stop support tickets before they happen
• Keep older posts current — most of the traffic value is in maintenance, not new posts
• Report on what ranks, what converts, and what should be rewritten or retired
What we're looking for
• Genuinely strong writing in English — plain, clear, no filler
• You have done SEO work and can show what it did
• You can explain something practical without padding it out
• Understanding of small business realities in Africa
• Reliable on deadlines — the calendar only works if you do
NICE TO HAVE
• You have run a business or sold online yourself
• Basic HTML
• Experience writing for fintech or e-commerce
